I need an attorney... Recommendations
I was just informed that my ex-wife is suing me for custody of my son. I have had sole custody of him for the last 8 years. She just now came back into his life after no contact with him for almost 7 years. She gave up her custody years ago.
Does anyone know a good attorney in the Lehigh Valley with this kind of practice?
Thanks in advance for your help. When you are called a racist, it just means you won an argument with an Obama supporter.

Based on the info you provided she will have an uphill battle. She will get visitation possibly but the courts will weigh what is in the child's best interest not the mothers. I can recommend a good firm but they are $450 an hour and I don't think that you will need that level of representation, plus he is in DE.... Pepper Hamilton is a very respected firm, they have offices in the Exton area (off 202) and Center City. I use them for my business but they have lawyers that specialize in varying aspects of the law.

try ESQ. Mike Brunnabend i think thats spelled right he has a office down by the Lehigh County Courthouse, he is pretty good with child custody and he aint too expensive, most civil lawyers in Lehigh valley are pretty expensive.

Re: I need an attorney... Recommendations
There was no worse time I had than trying to find a divorce lawyer up here with absolutely no leads. If I wanted a car or a tv, I could do some research and be ready to buy for the weekend.
But a lawyer?
My best advice is to talk to a lot of them during a free consultation and pick the one you'd like to go against least. It took weeks, but I feel good knowing I got a good one. My [ex]wife's lawyer is an incompetent piece of shit, so this has been an amusing divorce so far. Her lawyer was 40 minutes late for our last hearing, and the ruling was in my favor, lol.
Good luck. She's definitely got an uphill battle trying to prove she's fit. I'd threaten with back support or something like that.
Be prepared to cough up 2 grand or so for a retainer.

She is already behind $23k in back support. I don't understand how she can afford an attorney to bring this suit against me, but she can't pay back support????
The thing is I don't have a few weeks, the letter I got in the mail says I have 20 days to contact her lawyer...(I don't know the exact content since I am away with the Army until Sat night)
I went through this a few years ago...It was painful then, I am guessing its gonna hurt more this time. When you are called a racist, it just means you won an argument with an Obama supporter.

a friend i know had father try to come back into the childs life.
he was able to start out meeting the child in a public area where the mother was to be within eye distance. this went on till a outside counselor determined that the child felt comfortable with the father enough to go to family functions. all at the abandoning parents expense.
also all child support caught up in responsible/timely/scheduled payments.
it is in the childs best interest to know both parents, even the asshats."Yell it from that Mountain High 'I was Born Free' " ~ Kid Rock
