Definitely a disappointment this month, it wasn't nearly as good as the one a couple of months ago.

I was pleasently suprised to see decent AR's well under 1k, I saw small pistol primers at $37/1k, AK's at around $550. Not last year prices but still well under the panic prices of just a few months ago. Ammo prices where still rather high on most, but still well under stupid high.

We talked to people, passed out information, generally had a good time.

    I picked up some paracord.

There was 1K bulk primers there to be bought more than can be said of the big chain retails stores located near by (Gander Mt & Cabela's).

7.62 x39 (sks & AK) ammo had its first price reduction in years, were the price went down instead of always increasing. As Shawn mentioned the prices on some firearms are actually starting falling after the salesman of the month and the FEAR based buying is starting to finally subside.

Talked to a few gun with some real horror stories about abuse of their firearm rights.

On Sat the PA Attorney general Tom Corbett was at the show and at least one local state Rep which I talked with about HB 40 status.

Yes, quite a few evil guns at saner prices, but we may never see pree-2008 prices on same again.

On the ammo prices - well - at least one guy towards the back of 3rd building didn't get the memo; his 500rd bricks of .22 were in the $40's!!
Others were in the low-$20s-mid $30's.

    Otherwise a quiet, smallish show.

I basically got an $8 chamber brush out of the show, and it's the wrong size.

5 bucks entry and 3 bucks chamber brush. I got there Sunday about 2:30 because I was in the area. Many of the vendors were packing up as I walked in which kind of irked me since it's open until 4, but oh well it was something to do and kill time.

The ammo prices were still pretty steep, and there was still a ton of ammo on the shelves at most booths I visited, so either the show was light or folks are not paying premiums when ammo is starting to become available for less.
