Assuming it's lawful to discharge a firearm on your property within whatever town you're in, if it's within the airspace of your property, shouldn't you be able to do with it as you wish? Just playing devil's advocate. There are better ways of handling it, especially since you know you are being filmed so there will definitely be evidence against you.

Can't really blame the guy just saying besides if he had photos of the neighbors then he was technically violating their right to privacy on their property. He had no right to video or photograph them. They were not on any public property.

Re: Some idiot shoots drone out of the air.
The problem is (if this so the story I've read a couple of times about a house under construction being photographed) - the drone was reportedly not over the shooters property at the time.
Of course I've not heard the shooter make a statement, only the pilot.
If it was in airspace he can control or utilize - than precedent is clear.
According to the story posted by the OP, pilot states the shooter & another person felt the drone was over their property. Given the limited range of a shotgun.......Last edited by PAMedic=F|A=; October 31st, 2014 at 12:01 AM.

Just like a cat is drawn to a mouse, guys with shotguns are drawn to shiny things flying in the air.
