Greetings! :-)
Good evening.
I'm relatively new to P.A.F.O.A. and wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I've been collecting Sigs since 1994 and have at least one of each Sig model made (except for the polymer frames). I have a few rare Sigs including a West German Secret Police P230 chambered in .32 AUTO.
The pride and joy of my Sig collection is this Delaware State Police (DSP) commemorative edition pictured below. The DSP came with a glass-top wooden case from SIGARMS and after I purchased it, SIGARMS sent me a hand-signed certificate of authenticity for the gun. I'd like to display it, but with my luck, it would end up getting stolen.
These are quick and dirty pictures so please forgive the cotton curators gloves in the background and the mediocre macro photography. Someday, I do need to photo document this gun in high quality.
If you click on any of the pictures below a new browser window will open with a full-size version of the photograph.
Enjoy!
Figure 1: A Full-shot (pardon the awful pun) of the Sig Sauer P226 .357 SIG Delaware State Police Commemorative Edition in All of its Glory
Figure 2: The Grip Depicting a Delaware State Police Trooper Shield with Number 1
Figure 3: A Trigger Guard Close-up Depicting Gold-toned Trigger, Magazine Release, Decocking Lever, Slide Release Lever, Slide Lock Lever and Silhouetted Trooper Gold Inlay
Figure 4: A Slide Close-up Depicting the Words, “DELAWARE STATE POLICE 75th ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATIVE” and the edition number “DSP 122”. Only 200 of this commemorative pistol were produced.
Figure 5: Close-up 1 of the Silhouetted Trooper Gold Inlay Toward the Back of the Slide. This is an Actual Gold Inlay, Not a Silkscreened Effect.
Figure 6: Close-up 2 of the Silhouetted Trooper Gold Inlay Toward the Back of the Slide. This is an Actual Gold Inlay, Not a Silkscreened Effect.

Re: Greetings! :-)
Welcome aboard!
Man, that is one gorgeous Sig you have. I'm a Glock guy myself, but there are plenty of other fine firearms out there, Sig amongst them. What do you think of the 250 compared to the rest of the Sig line?
(The previous posters are right, by the way -- do talk to the user "1blindref' here. He's a big Sig fan, too!)
