friend stopped by security at Mt airy

Hey guys,
My friend and I went to mt airy over ther weekend. On our way out the security stopped us outside and asked for my friends ID/LIC.

We did not have a clue as to why until we asked what for?/ Head security said someone was causing trouble around the machines that fit your discription!!.

I have to tell you we are both in our 50's and the last thing I want to do is act like rambo around the machines and start trouble. It obviously a mistake!.lol

We where outside the building and he followed us with about 5 guards and the Head gaurd ask for our driver lic, he said lets see your Driver lic/ I said absolutely not, but my friend complies because not to start trouble.

Now I am getting pissed off and refused to show him any ID. I said lets go and get your lic back from this clown. And we walked away and they didnt say a word.

I dont think I had to show him anything with no good reason, Am I correct???

correct. you dont have to show your ID to anyone period!!!

only time you must show ID is to a police officer if your stoped in your vehicle..

if your not in a vehicle you do not have to have ID on you !

By not complying to security's silly demands, chances are they thought you were the person causing trouble. I wouldn't have shown them any ID though... I think leaving was the right thing to do.

What law? there is no law that you have to show ID in that situation.

It was just on the news that two males stole a voucher worth a couple thousand dollars from a female. I don't remember what casino, but I'd guess it was the one you guys were at.
