    Default Lbt 6094 a,b,c

Does anyone here have any experience with the 6094 plate carrier in terms of sizing? I know the a, b, c ratings are the plate sizes, medium, large and xl. But what about the cumberbund sizing? Trying to figure out the best best to get for a guy with a 38-40” waist line and wears a 48” jacket. Any ideas?

I'm 6-1, 48" chest, 36" waist and the 6094B fits me perfectly. It's designed for Large plates (11x14 I think).

I use the A. It’s an awesome carrier, well made, durable, and simple. I do wish the cummerbund was a bit longer though. With soft armor and 6x6 plates in, it’s a little snug.

The B should be good for you. There are different cuts to the vest too. One for swimmer and the other for SAPI.

They go on sale on LBT’s website every once in awhile or you can find them on eBay.

LBT usually emails out a spring discount code.

I have a very very nice 6094B copy made by AWS and I would highly sugget it. I am the same measurements as you.

Here is the response I got from LBT directly. Hope it helps others.

LBT carriers are designed around plate size and are fully adjustable in the shoulders and cummerbund to fit a variety of body types. Also, the side plate pockets on the LBT-6094 will hold either 6 x 6 or 6 x 8 hard plates.

LBT-6094A these are generally good for anyone up to 5’11 and 200
    LBT-6094B 6’ and up and 200-230
    LBT-6094C 6’ and up and 230+

The cummerbund is adjustable from 32” - 46”.
