How many guns can you buy at one time?

I had a investment payoff and i am simple wondering if i went into aces how many long guns and handguns could i buy in one day? Is there a red flag amount? For those that have bought more then a few in a day what do you have to do is there more paperwork?

IIRC 5 or more and the ffl has so send the BATF(E) a multiple purchase form. There is no limit, I've bought 7 or 8 at a time already.

Paperwork for each one. The most I purchased in one day was seven. four from one dealer; three from individual dealers. I'm a C&R guy so my 03 saved me on the PICS.

If you buy 2 handguns from the same shop within 5 business days they will fill out this form and send it to the ATF. Instructions are on page 2.

It may or may not be a red flag. If you buy 5 Hi Points at the same time, expect a visit.

As many as you can afford and the shop would be comfortable selling you

As many as you want as long as you don't ask for a Phased Plasma Rifle in the 40W range.
