One question. Why? I mean, it's ugly, ammo is uncommon, they are NOT collectable(IMO), they're underpowered for anything except plinking and close-up self-defense, and they're RUSSIAN.

    Thumbs up Re: nagant 1895

    Exactly,
to match my 91/30 made in tula 1936 both would look nice together.

Expensive ammo and probably one of the heaviest Double Action trigger. I would buy one for the collector/novelty but it would be a plinker. I won't lie though they're probably one of the best revolvers to add a silencer to.

Fun to play with. Can fire 32 S&W Longs through them, plus there is a 32 ACP cylinder available that might take a little bit of fitting. Can use 32-20 reformed cases for reloading though you need to check the clearances when cocked using a formed but not loaded case. One of mine with work perfectly with 32-20 cases, the other will not. Dave_n

What Dave_n said. Years ago I was of the same opinion as sparx, but once I played with a 1895 Nagant and took it apart I was impressed with the engineering if not the workmanship. It's a piece of firearms history, and is a nice complementary accessory to the 91 Mosin, SKS, AK, Tokarevs, Makarov, etc. Ammo is expensive if you don't reload, but I found a couple dealers with Prvi at $25 - $27 a box of 50. It's not a plinker but a piece of history. And I figured out how to lighten the trigger pull substantially; it transformed my Nagant.

Well, you can collect them, hence they have the ability to be collected, and collectable. I don't know, you tell me. How likely is a firearm collectible that can be had for under 100 bucks in near perfect condition?
