M&P 40
Just ordered a MP 40 smith. I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge as to what bullet weight may yield the best accuracy.

You will not know that until you fire every brand of ammo, every size bullet, and used every powder charge. Every gun is different and likes somthing different. I'm happy when everything stays in the black at 25 yards.

Re: M&P 40
I'm not sure what will work best in your M&p 40, but I prefer 155 grain in my .40s.

Re: M&P 40
I have the 40c. 180's all the way. target loads as well as personal(gold dot) defense. I have 5 M&P's compacts and 4" bbls. in .40/.357sig and 9mm. They are high quality and you will love it. The compact in .40 is a little "snappy".
ps The federal preminum is a little dirty. winchester white box were the cleanest.
