My new house is haunted... starting to get spooked
Okay, not really. But weird things happen daily.
I just moved into my new house. It's a Victorian built in 1888, considered historical property by the city and is spooky as all hell. 2300sq ft, four bedrooms one bath, a full attic with turret balcony and a smokers balcony outside of the master bedroom door.
Doors have been opening by themselves. Granted it seems as though they're weighted that way but it happens at the oddest times. I'll be across the house and I will hear a door slam shut.
Lights flicker, but surely that's due to the wiring...
The stench of rotten eggs wafts into the air on occasion. I think it's the septic system but it has happened in my bedroom and the attic before.
But lastly, and what I cannot explain: My girlfriend and I were moving things from her SUV and back to the house. Upon realizing I forgot her keys to open the truck, the vehicle beeped not once but twice signifying both the front and back doors were now open.
No one else was in the house. It takes two solid presses of the unlock button to make the car unlock both the front and back doors. The keys for the truck were on my bed in the bedroom.
This has all spooked my girlfriend to the point where she will not go upstairs or into the basement by herself.
I find it all wildly amusing. Starting to pique my interest in the supernatural sadly!
Here are some pictures.

Cool looking home. I like it. As for the "spooky" stuff... You're on your own! I'm outta here.

That is a very beautiful house! I have always been drawn to houses like that. As far as the spooks, I wouldn't worry about them, at least they where helpful in unlocking your truck for you. Maybe they can do the dishes too
Seriously though, I am really not sure I believe in ghost's however I have never read anything that truly explains the unexplainable. But If you do have ghosts than it seems they are not mean. Which is a good thing...... I think......
