While reading NYS's hunting publication I found an interesting little nugget I need to do some research on. Apparently there are snow geese up here and, like everywhere else, there are too many of them. The season is mid March to mid April, so that gives me plenty of time to prepare and it will give me something to look forward to when deer is done and turkey not in yet. That's the good news. Bad news is I know next to nothing about hunting them here or in the spring. Generally I've always understood waterfowling to be a December and January thing, and for me it usually meant Mississippi or Louisiana or Texas was where it was going on. So what's the scoop on this? Anyone know much about how you go about this in the spring?
