    Default Subburban airsoft laws?

I'm starting a garden this year and would like something to help keep the rabbits away. Provided I'm not using a realistic looking weapon are there any ordnances against such things?

Best place to ask would be your township or borough government. Doubt any county restrictions exist. Local game warden?

I'm not sure any game laws would be in effect as I wouldn't be killing the animals.

you would most likely be in unlawful pursuit of game........no "ordnances" except the weapon you would be using.......however you may want to look into "ordinances".......

A small fence around the garden?

Plinking at them would be more fun. I doubt an airsoft would hurt them. I have an electric airsoft gun and it won't even penetrate a paper target. If you're really in doubt, go to paintball. That's still legal even in philly.

Looks like this thread is all for naught. The idea got shot down by my wife who thinks a 300 fps 6mm plastic ball is going to travel past the garden, 25 yards away, through the thick 10' high 3' thick hedge row that's 3 yards past that and how ever much further away someone is who will of course get shot in the eye and of blinded. Oh well.

Too bad winter is over.......you could have blamed it on a icicle like Ralphie did.

Williamsport PD didn't care about the accuracy or power behind mine, they told me that shooting a BB gun within city limits was a no-no. Didn't seem to matter that the cat I was keeping from crapping on the porch was uncollared and pretty rough looking, just mattered that it ran across the street to "its home" and then I have to explain myself to the cops

Don't hurt the domestic animals (even feral ones).

Cat's hate getting wet. A squirt gun will serve you well (and it won't hurt them).

Why does your wife have the ability to shoot your idea down?
