I finally got a Glock.........

It took me while to by some tupperware but I finally broke down and did it. It just arrived today so no range report yet. It is a 17C. It is part one of my Class III project





If I could make it to the next Group Shoot (Western PA: The only REAL group shoot) then ya guys could try it out. Maybe the next one.

I have many questions for you about this "class III" project if it involves this G17C.

I have found that G18 autos are very very hard to come by, and I was told that building a legal equivalent is almost impossible.

I was thinking of getting a sear for it, effectivly making it a machine gun. Then, at that point, I could put a folding stock and vertilcle fore-grip on it. The cost of this project will make it take some time. So for now, I am just going to enjoy it as is.

just a note: dont shoot C models close to the body, such as point shooting from the hip...unless you actually LIKE hot powder and jacket particles peppering the underside of yer jaw.

How are you planning to do this legally? Are you going to become a corporation? Is it even legal to do that?

Enjoy your 17C!! If you do plan on carrying this pistol for SD, Jaybell has a good point. All you need is a standard barrel (unslotted) .
