Vehicles with snow on them
I had to vent somewhere, isnt there a law against vehicles operating with snow covering the car.. I can understand some suv and trucks not getting some off the roof, but at least make an effort. Do people not understand that it is dangerous to have snow covering your car except your front window. How do you expect to see out your rear window?? Its dangerous or that person and for any motorist behind you seeing how chunks of snow and/or ice fly off vehicles...
I feel alot better
Thanks!!

There is, but generally only something they can nail you with if an accident happens. I just use a broom to clean my suv off, I can get most of the roof this way too.

Re: Vehicles with snow on them
just last week I watched some girl back into my car because she had snow on the back window...
My car was fine... but I was a bit pissed... First off (MOST) women cant park a car right let alone back into a spot with a huge cady with snow on the back window... I should have gave her my 2 cents, but she said sorry and she was cute... so I let it slide since no harm was done...ΑΣΦ

I once got hit with a mini-avalanche coming off the top of a semi's trailer. At 65 MPH it can be a sobering experience.

Re: Vehicles with snow on them
Surprisingly this is all I could find on the subject:
75 Pa.C.S.A. § 3720. Snow and ice dislodged or falling from moving vehicle
When snow or ice is dislodged or falls from a moving vehicle and strikes another vehicle or pedestrian causing death or serious bodily injury as defined in section 3742 (relating to accidents involving death or personal injury), the operator of the vehicle from which the snow or ice is dislodged or falls shall be subject to a fine of not less than $200 nor more than $1,000 for each offense.. I know NJ had/has it.

And that law is relatively recent, as of Jan. 2007, I believe. Previous state law only required that the windshield be cleared.
