Default new carry gun "para carry 9"

Just bought the "Para carry 9" today at the allentown days inn gun show. Been Eyeing it up for a while and today was the first time i actaully saw it in person. When I held it I knew I had to have it and since IT is my birthday today I spent the $769 on it. I then took it to the range and put 50 rds through it with no issues. The trigger on this pistol is a dream to say the least. It really must be pulled to fully understand it. I am so happy with this gun even though it cost $769. Below is some pics and a link 2 the para site.

    Sweet pistol. I am jealous.
I will own one someday. I have a Para 16.40 LDA and the trigger is the best ever.

Nice catch glocktwoseven!!! I saw that gun on saturday, in the case and drooled a little on the glass above it. I got a Para Hi-Cap .45 LDA myself the day after Christmas and I know what you mean about the trigger. Happy Birthday dude!!

You're lucky I didn't see it first Saturday. :-) Congrats!! I actually went to look for any Para sub compact. I saw only one and it was a slightly used "Slim Hawg" and the guy told me it was $1000. I could get a brand new one for $869. I guess he didn't want to be bothered to sell it. I lam looking for either a "Slim Hawg" in 45ACP or a Carry 9, 9mm. The reason I was looking for the Slim was I could not find any 9mm Para Ord's in Stainless. They are all black and I have my eye set on the S.S.

I have had the Double stack Gun Rights model for a few months and I absolutely love it, great feel, and the best trigger ever.

nice...I always liked the look of Para guns, but I just can't afford 1 at the moment. Not only that, they're based in a socialist country. =) I'll wait until they move to America. hehe

Not to piss in anyones Cheerios, but the LDA's are guns I really recommend people shoot before they buy them.

The reset is VERY light, and requires you to completly release the trigger all the way.

For some people that isn't an issue at all; for me and many of my peers, it is.

I think people should just understand how that reset works and feels on those guns before they buy they, because it is pretty different than most on the market.

I didn't shoot it before buying mine, but I did dry fire it many times to feel it. I really liked it and only bought it because of how much I did like it. I was originally looking for the Big Hawg SA .45, but no one had them or could even get one, so he showed me the one I got and I fell in live with the trigger. To each his own I guess. I don't expect everyone to like the same things as I do, and that is fine. It would be a boring world if it were that way.

It sounds like it is very similar to the SIG DAK trigger, which is DAO with no short reset. People usually love it or hate it. Personally, I love the DAK trigger and the LDA appears to be even nicer. Looks like a great pistol. Congratulations.
