That was funny. They had to show the Great Leader giving instruction on every issue. At the end, the one thrown soldier actually hopped/jumped to help the other soldier throw him over!

And they had to show the MRLs on the beach and the rockets explode in the ocean...so they can prove they can at least hit the ocean with an area weapon??

It is the typical propaganda channel that gets bled over to the south.

Make no mistake, however, N. Korea has a lot of arty (including rockets) and it is no fun being on the receiving end of a barrage.

Our current situation is partly our fault. The kid throws a tantrum and we eventually give-in and give him the lollipop they wanted. Now they have learned to throw a tantrum every time they want a piece of candy. They don't even bother asking first.

Poor bastards. Didn't even have enough sense to see he didn't have enough sense. Well, we don't have a lot to worry about if we get in a handgun to handgun combat with them.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

Was anybody else expecting at the end for a tiny car to pull up and forty clowns...I mean soldiers get out?

Here is a site with good info (PDF).

    Global Security.org - N. Korea

They claim it is a Tokarev TT-33 but I wonder if they are not really the type 51 Chinese variants? Of course, it is possible N.Korea could be licensed to make either from the Soviets or China, respectively.

Lots of interesting reading on that site by the way, if any are interested in learning more.

Looks like a N Korean version of the TT-33, IIRC that would be a Type 68 pistol (details). I'm not familiar with modern US Mil body armor, 7.62x25 drills a lot deeper than 9x18 Mak or 9x19 NATO.

What I didn't notice before all this fuss is NK now appears to be using 5.45mm AKs. Interesting.

WRT NK, here's an interesting read:

Gloria: "65 percent of the people murdered in the last 10 years were killed by hand guns"
Archie Bunker: "would it make you feel better, little girl, if they was pushed outta windows?"

I saw the youtube video from today/yesterday of Kim Dong Pun waving around the pistol with his finger on the trigger. Would have been funny if he had a ND and popped one of his generals.
