Default Need some opinions on selling my m1a

Bought a green synthetic standard model m1a back in November 2012 and I've only ever been able to take it out once, fired I think 10 or 20 rounds. I paid 1,334.98 before pics and all that, and I kinda wanna sell it now... But not sure how much I should ask. I was thinking since so little rounds were put through it and nothing on the gun has been modified at all (still a virgin) I could get close to my price.

Opinions, comments, let me know please.

Surprisingly, doing a GB search new ones aren't going for what you paid for yours.

    Here is a loaded one.

Keep it. It's a great rifle. Unless you need it for some emergency - don't sell it. No need to take a 400$ hit.

Rule of thumb for me, is this...I buy a new gun, the moment its paid for it is now a used gun and if I want to sell it I'll expect to take a 20% to 30% hit..

Not too many people will want to pay close to a new price for a gun that has been owned by someone else and is clearly not a new gun.

Keep it. It doesn't take up much space and you don't have to supply it with food. Sooner or later you'll want to shoot it more.

Looks like the one you linked to sold for about $25 less than he paid for his. But, the loaded usually gets slightly more. It's in the ballpark.

OP, you should hang on to it unless you really need the $. I would bet that the value of anything with a scary feature like removable mags, flash hiders, semi-auto, etc. will only go up. Plus, they are fun as hell to shoot.
