public ranges in easternish pa?
A buddy and myself would like to go shooting Friday, but I haven't gotta around to joining a range yet. He is from new jersey, so I can't take many of my guns to his range. I am looking for a rifle/pistol range within say 1.5hrs of northern or southern philly. Preferably over 100yds, but ill shoot at as little as 50.

Your best bet would be Wicens farm. Look it up for details. There is a nominal fee to shoot there.

I'll second the Farm. The fee is $15 per day per shooter (includes all three ranges) + $7 one time fee for the RSO to do the safety briefing for new shooters and observe them closely in the beginning.
This is the safest range I've ever been to, not to mention - the cheapest. While public ranges are so unsafe, that OMFG.Je suis déplorable
