Default whats one gun you trust in your arsonal??

Some of us have many guns in our arsonal
I have 10 on my own(include handgun and rifles), and some have alot more.

While all my guns work frowlessly(well almost), if something happend, and you can ONLY keep(take) two gun to depend on, what would be your choice?

I'm thinking my choice would be my M&P and my AR..

Those two never missed beat. goes bang everytime trigger is pulled. Never failed on me.
My 3913 never missed beat either( and so are model 65 and 651), but M&P is highcapacity, where is 3913 holds 9rds, and 65 hold 6, and 651 holds 5.
My Para is almost perfect, but once in the super bluemoon, it fails to go to battery.
    Walther, well, 22 is useless
CD HP is still out on warrenty repair...

Right now since I don't have a rifle(other than the m6 scout) It would be the xd9 and the makarov.

Neither one has ever failed to fire or eject. I plan on getting either an AR or an AK soon so that might sub for the mak soon enough.

Thought about this a little earlier.

Depends on the situation. If I was holed up in the house in a SHTF situation and needed one for defense, food gathering, and all that stuff I'm actually tempted to go for the shotgun. Lots of versatility and 12ga ammo is rather easy to find and horde.

That being said the SKS has been 100% reliable and works on humans and deer, not so much for small game.

An AR is great for the high capacity, and it can also take man and deer. Subsonic FMJ might work for small game but not as well as a .22

If we have to consider long term upkeep and replacement parts that puts any semi-auto in a tough spot. AK/AR parts will be easier to find and easier to keep around because it's like a model T, they all work. I'm tempted to go with a bolt action like the Mosin Nagant. It'll take man and deer and will NEVER break. Plus you can bayonet people in the ass.

For small arms stick with an XD or Glock in a popular caliber. 1911s are good because of the model T parts but for a SHTF situation tactical tupperware will just last longer with fewer issues.

    Did I answer your question?

I would Take my Sig 229 and my AR, I only have 5 to choose from at the moment. I haven't shot my STG-556 so I don't know that rifle yet.

This all hinges on what happened and what are we depending on them for. But, for the sake of argument, Glock 23 and Model 870 12 gauge.

My full house AR build and my 2011. Not your usualy choices, but I spend so much time with them, I know what they need and when they need it. No surprises.
