What is the police loophole?
There are some states, counties, cities, and municipalities in our great nation that fail to allow their citizens to fully exercise their right to keep and bear arms with restrictions such as magazine capacity or types of firearms that are widely available to citizens of other states, counties, cities, and municipalities. However, these government entities do not place these restrictions upon their own employees, such as police officers.

What is this list?
This is a list of companies that have taken the step to publicly announce that they will not sell items to states, counties, cities, and municipalities that restrict their citizens rights to own them; therefore closing the "police loophole" themselves.

I have written remington, glock, taurus, smith & wesson ,ruger, still need to write to berretta , winchester , kimber . lets not let up on these companies . sadly I havent seen or heard from any in reply.

Looks like a list of mostly private companies that sell little if anything to law enforcement. I doubt you'll find many public companies join this list -- they owe their allegiance and their jobs to their shareholders; that's how capitalism works.

Looks like a list of mostly public companies that do sell to law enforcement. To them the gun business is really a business, rather than a platform to make a "statement."

Lots of those comapnies should refuse to sell to the philly PD since philly is where the push for gun control in PA appears to be coming from dispite the "people" who are the reason many citizens carry guns are in places like Philly.
