Desert Tactical: Problems?

Has anyone had any problems with Desert Tactical?

I have an order of kit and mags from them that's more than a month overdue. I expect delays but I'm starting to be concerned.

Internet scams are probably going to proliferate as the economy sucks more.


I would just like to know if ANYONE has ever ordered anything successful from them in the past. I hope I haven't been scammed by a slick website.

I'm having a problem with deserttactical.com also. I placed an order for 5 30 rd Magpuls that they said were in stock. My credit card was charged the same day I ordered and now, after 2 weeks, my order still says processing. I don't have a problem waiting for a backorder, but my card isn't suppose to be charged until the item ships. I also have a problem with them saying it's in stoc if it's not. I'm trying to get in touch with them by phone because they won't return my emails.

My order was on Feb 26 and I'm going to have to call my credit card company to do something soon if they don't get back to me.

Desert Tactical did finally get back to me and said that their system had an error and made it look as if the mags I ordered were in stock but in actuality they were not. I asked them to refund my credit card until the mags ship and haven't heard from them since. I believe most credit cards will only reverse the charges for 45 days after purchase so I wouldn't wait too long to act.

I just received my order of 5 Pmags from Deserttactical.com. I went to my credit card company to put in a dispute for their charge and all of a sudden Deserttactical shipped me 5 Pmags. I received them and all is well, but I'm still pretty peeved at the way they do business. They charged my card 4 weeks before my order was shipped and they refused to return calls or emails. I think I'll steer clear of these guys going forward.

My stuff arrived suddenly with one item missing due to back order. They refunded the cost of that item. But, it would have been nice if they could have told me or responded to my emails and phone calls.
