Do not fall for the Switzerland thing..

What they dont tell you is:

    1. You cannot carry a gun unless you are going to/from your qualifications, a range, or hunting without a permit.
    2. Permits are only granted to security people.
    3. Ammunition for your services rifle is only dispensed at the range and you must shoot it all or turn it back in. If war breaks out, you are issued ammo then, but have to return what you don't use.
    4. You are not issued ammo for you to keep at home.
    5. Privately owned guns(and service guns) must be kept locked up and unloaded.

Can't hear the video at work.. But under the description section it is noted

Between the ages of 21 and 32 men serve as frontline troops. They are given an M-57 assault rifle and 24 rounds of ammunition which they are required to keep at home.
Also in the guys safe, there was a box on the bottom that said 45acp.. that could of been ammo.
The problem with shooting Chinese bullets is 15 minutes later you wanna shoot again.

That was the old rule about keeping ammo at home. Since that mass shooting the rule changed. Now it is NO ammo at home for the service rifle. Ammo is only dispensed at qualifications and during war times.
