New Kahr PM9 9mm
I just bought a Kahr PM9 today and after a quick breakdown and clean, took it out to the range. I didn't want to waste any time getting the initial 200 break-in rounds through it.
I like this gun a lot. It has a little bit of a kick. After 200 rounds in about 45 minutes, my hands were a little worn out. I had a few FTF, which I think were just as likely caused by my tired hands not seating the rounds properly in the mags.
The indoor range I was shooting on is 50 ft. My first few mags were a little low and left. Towards the end of the session, I had about 8 or 10 rounds land a little high, but the vast majority of my shots hid center mass, mostly right around the bullseye. I found the pistol to be extremely accurate and very easy to get back on target - nearly as easy to reacquire the target as my Beretta PX4 Storm.
This is going to be my CCW pocket gun. I'm a bit uneasy walking around with a loaded gun with no external safety. I'm hoping it will be second nature soon.

Nice gun. Like all others, the more you shoot it the better it gets. I usually bring it along to the range and only put 50 at a time through. As you said it is a bit snappy.

Get yourself a Desantis Nemesis or something of that sort for pocket carry. You might also enjoy have a paddle holster for OWB too, a Fobus for that guy is only about $20. OWB with a PM9 is amazing, you will porget that it's even there and under a jacket no one else will know it's there either.

Re: New Kahr PM9 9mm
I was a little nervous about chambered with no safety until someone pointed out that my revolver is in the same condition. I never felt nervous with that.
I got so comfortable with the concept that I even changed the trigger spring on my concealed carry to make the pull lighter. I know, the harder pull is supposed to contribute to safety but in my humble opinion it degrades my accuracy.
I do carry in a galco leather wallet type holster that covers the trigger. I higly recommend covering your trigger and not carrying in a pocket with anything else - like keys!"A free people ought to be armed." - George Washington
