Arrow The new IGun from Apple

I was at one of their stores this past week. I can't believe I missed this!

It might just be time to buy stock in the company because I think this is really gonna grab the market.

    Just sayin'....

Cool Re: The new IGun from Apple

Due to occasional crime will not be sold in the Philadelphia area.
Pre on line ordering starts June 1.
I'd rather have a gun in my hand then a cop on the phone.

    Pretty funny!

It does seem odd that firearms tech hasn't developed much beyond the basic concept of the 1911. Yeah, Glock, FN, and others have added their twist in one way or another, but a sidearm looks like a sidearm for well over a hundred years.

I want brand new tech... something that straps to my forearm and has an optical HUD in my google glass that lets me select targets so that the fire control system can automaticaly deploy the round when the weapon is properly aligned with the target.

The tech is exists. Why isn't there an app for that?

    Clearly that's a post 86 sample....therefore you can't own it.

What you are describing exists. You just have to join the Air Force. Introducing technology into guns has always been opposed by gun owners on the grounds that it impedes its use or it might break. Biometrics can be easily incorporated into guns today but how many of us would want it? The reason for the longevity of guns for over 500 years is in fact its simplicity. Its components are timeless and impossible to be made obsolete, just like musical instruments. It is also a testament to a great design. They were so well though out that it is difficult to improve upon.

I am surprised the safety Nazis haven't pointed out how he swept the girl with his muzzle after firing the AK App

It already exists!? No way! Lol

No one wants the tech? Yeah, if that were the case we would all still use map and compass for navigation... Maybe there is more to it?
