    Default Milsurp Q - Arisaka 44

Hey guys. I have a stock that apparently was an "arisaka 44" which was a cavalry weapon in Japan back in the day. Has the bayonette and all of the metal bits except the rear sling attachment. I'd say the condition is "pretty good for something 100 years old" give or take.

    Couple questions:

    1 - ballpark on worth as a part/parts
2 - where would I get an... upper I guess? (barrel + action for it)
3 - is there a milsurp board you recommend?

Thanks! I'll toss a pic or two up in the morning.
It has to start someplace... It has to start sometime...

http://forums.gunboards.com/ has lots of info and specific forums for various countries of origin.

http://forums.gunboards.com/forumdis...The-Rising-Sun would be a good place to start.
