Re: Brass Nazi at range off 74
I don't have to deal with public range brass scroungers anymore , but at my club , we do police our ejected empties and keep the place clean. But I still hate chasing it , crawling under benches , bending over , tall grass , weeds etc. I recently bought one of the Caldwell quick detachable brass catchers and 2 extra brackets for my AR's. These things work great. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Caldwell-CAL...item4876c296a9
For my Garand and M-1As , bolt guns , I made a brass net. Basically I took 2 C-clamps , welded 1/4" x 3ft rods to them , simple cross piece and a hunk of camo netting and made what looks like a 3ft high x 4ft wide Ping-Pong table net. Clamps and adjusts to any bench in seconds. It also stops my brass from smacking the guy on the next bench.I don't speak English , I talk American!

Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.
