PAFOA's Musical Talent
I love music. It's a deep part of my life. I went to college for it. I have a degree in music. However, it makes a great hobby but a horrible career.
Here's my Uke and my Guitar.
Anyone else play anything?

Re: PAFOA's Musical Talent
I'm a woodwind guy myself. My main axe is a Selmer Super Action 80 Series II alto sax. I also dabble in clarinet and a bit of flute. Right now though, I seem to be drawn toward the tin whistle. I have quite a few whistles, but my crown jewel is an aluminum Tony Dixon in D.
I've tried playing strings and apparently my left hand is mostly retarded. If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin. - Samuel Adams

Re: PAFOA's Musical Talent
I love sax. I took 2 semesters of tenor my junior year. After that year I was planning on getting a Yamaha Z series. I got the guitar and an AR-15 for the same money as I was going to spend on the Z series.
I took a semester of string bass (which I loved!) my freshman year. It takes a good bit of practice to not suck.

Re: PAFOA's Musical Talent
I played sax for a few years as a kid. Years later, I traded that in for a guitar and ended up in a band for a fear years after college.
I have an ESP Custom. I'll post a pic when it's not 6:25am.

Did have nice SG with a half stack no comment on what happened to that. Now I have really become quite the expert playing spoons and the kazoo.

Re: PAFOA's Musical Talent
I never made a full time living at it, but it was always a way to put some cash flow in my pocket. I've got Gibsons, Epiphones, Fender, PRS, Martin, Taylors, 2 dobros and a banjo. I've been lucky as to have Fender sponsor our band, The Last Mile for 2 years. We traveled the country, east and west then.
