Anybody going to the Pittsburgh Air Show? I will be there in an official capacity. (on the ambulance). If you haven't been there yet, its a GREAT TIME!!! The kids love it.

I'm always there. My wife and one of the kids are working the Girl Scout Chicken & Rib shack again this year. They do that and I roam the place all day.

I love airshows. I saw the Wings over Hampton Roads while visiting Langley AFB in 2004, and it was a great show. A-10 demo team show is awesome!

June 16th - and 17th 8:30-4:30. The Thunderbirds are amazing!!!! The blue angels last year were really good aswell

I've been there too. Buddy of mine was station in Norfolk. Also went several times to Andrews AFB when I lived in MD. They put on a great show !

Love those A-10s. Used to watch them run sorties from Martin State airport in Baltimore to Ocean city. Theyu would buzz our boat while we were on the Chesepeake Bay.

Just keep in mind, show-goers, security is like an airport, if not worse. They have a garbage can in which you will be told to throw all "weapons" including toe nail clippers. They will then cover your items in sand.

Seriously. Then again, maybe I'm the only one that was suprised by that.

We love WOP. We never miss it. I've parked on the tarmac and across the street using thier buses. Either way is quick. If you have kids, its a very exciting and CHEAP(free)adventure. We end up with a few bags of free stuff and the kids love playing with the toys. Ummm.. oh yeah, bring sun screen. My most memorable experience was in 2004. A million kids sitting in and playing with every knob, button, lever,pedal,toggle,switch and movable part of a Life Flight helicoper. They had an emergency and had to go. Gone in 10 Minutes of evicting the kids. I wouldn't even have gone up in it. lol
