    Default Thoughts on 2012 election

I was just thinking. If we are to change our countries morals and economical practices who would be the perfect candidate. Two that come to my mind are Newt Gingrich and/or Sara Palin. (Or both on the same ticket.)

But then I thought about it some more and come up with the following two. I do not mean to discredit or insult any one of these individuals. But how about.

Sara Palin for president. She has the media's attentions and has high moral standards, at least it appears that she does, and she is not an attorney. To me she is just a normal citizen who has risen to the level that the media watches her etc.

For Vice President: Todd Platt. I don't know a lot about him but I believe his voting record show him to be concervative and I would be surprised if he has any dirty secrets hiding. You never know though. I believe he has high moral values from what I have seen.

Together maybe they will be what we will desire for 2012. A women president, a concervative VP both with, I hope a spotless record in both their public and personal life.

Just throwing it out there for coversation. If I was either of them I am not sure that I would want the job.

During the last election, the media effectively painted Palin as a dunce and a bimbo. It doesn't matter that it isn't true. The majority of the electorate is comprised of fools. They are told what to think by the talking heads on the box and they believe. She can't get elected. I don't like it, but that's just the way it is.

    I'm a life long Republican.

Palin is not the answer. I begrudgingly voted for McCain / Palin but i was just voting for the lesser evil. McCain does not represent my views (on many many issues).

I think this time around if RP does run again, i'll throw that way. I did not like RP's views on foreign policy and i kinda thought he was a kook.

But, if all i can find fault with RP, is his foreign policy - which is a lot less than at fault with McCain then that’s what i'm going to do.

I'm tired of settling for the lesser of two evils and i don’t see anyone in the Republican party that is going to jump to the forefront. In my opinion, the party has lost direction - and until they get back on track, I can’t support them like I blindly did in the past.

Not wanting Palin as POTUS does not make one a hater just as not voting for O does not make one a racist. I like Palin but do not think she has the horsepower for that job. Would rather see her in the Senate.

Ron Paul in the WH would be beyond useless if the Congress remains as it is. I would rather focus on 2010 instead of 2012 because at the end of the day Congress is where the real power is.

How about voting for a 3rd party candidate for a change?
If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin. - Samuel Adams
