Glock Factory Nite Sights
Has anyone sent their Glock Pistol Slide assy to Glock in Smyrna, GA for installation of Glock Nite Sights? I called Glock today and was quoted the price of $57.00. This sounds like a good deal to me. I welcome any comments (good or bad) from forum members. Thanks in advance.

Re: Glock Factory Nite Sights
I have them on my glock 30. There was a rep at the shop the day I bought it. he put them on right there while I watched. I don't remember how much it cost for the sights. There was no charge for the installation. he even showed me a few things that I was having issues with.
troll Free. It's all in your mind.

Shoot, I'd do it cheaper for you if you were local, and throw in a factory inspection to boot.
Now that I've plugged my armorer services I'll say that $57 isn't bad and the good 'ole boys at Smyrna will do the job well.

Re: Glock Factory Nite Sights
I'd say that's a good deal.
I've got Glock factory night sights on my G23. The first thing I noticed is they're a lot brighter than the Meprolights I have on two of my other Glocks.

Re: Glock Factory Nite Sights
if you buy them at your local gun shop, a lot of times they'll install them free of charge if they have the equipment on spot....
I paid $110 I think for my sights plus the installation on my XD.Peace, Prosperity, and Liberty

Re: Glock Factory Nite Sights
I have both Glock factory night sights and I had trijicon installed for 100.00. What I have noticed is that the trijicon have a much richer brighter color at night. The glock ones have a better white circle for daylight use. Hope that helps. Go with trijicon.

Re: Glock Factory Nite Sights
I don't think any brand of night sights will do that.
It seems to me that the dots in the Glock factory sights are slightly bigger than the Meprolights, which makes them a little brighter. They are definitely easier to pick up visually than the Meps when it's pitch black.
I went with Meprolights on two of my other Glocks because I wanted the green front dot and orange rear dots. The Glock sights are all green.
