$199 14 Gun Fire Safe From Walmart!
I picked up a safe from the walmart in Robinson by where I work this week. It was on clearance for $199! It's a "14" gun, fire rated safe with electronic door. More than enough room for our 2 AR15s and 3 pistols. You could realistically fit 4 equipped AR15s, shotguns, etc in the lower half and then have dedicated shelves for 4 pistols up top. My wife and I do have our eyes on adding another gun or two eventually so it's good that we have room to expand. It's a great deal if you have a small collection and your local walmart has it. I wouldn't suggest calling them or expecting anyone at walmart to ever be good at their job or helpful in any way. My sister made that mistake to try and get one for her and her husband. They live an hour away and didn't feel like driving to Robinson. If you have a handtruck, bring it. It's about 300 pounds.

Good price for what it is and damn good compared to those "safes" that are nothing more than a storage locker with thin sheet metal. Any idea what this usually goes for? Also what's the sku #? I can use brickseek as a rough guide to check inventory and price.

I mentioned elsewhere here to look for "after season" clearanced gun safes in stores like Walmart.
They often only order them in to have a few on hand for the holidays and then put them on clearance if they don't sell.
Good deal.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Good price. I'm not seeing 14 guns fitting in that safe, though. I have a Cannon 24-gun safe, and I think I could actually get 24 guns inside the thing.
Better yet if you can buy the floor model. I got Tractor Supply to discount a floor model, and then got them to come down even more when I pointed out some damage on the inside (that was easily repairable). Can't hurt to ask!

You'll outgrow it soon enough but not a bad way to start.

Considering a plain, steel "Security Cabinet" will cost $140 on sale, that was a super price.
I have a Stack-On cabinet that's rated at "14 gun" and I think I could get more in it than the one shown above, but it doesn't have the thick walls either, so there's more room on the inside.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!
