Default Finally built my reloading bench.

I bought a kit to build my reloading bench. I finally built it tonight with help from MiniDevil.

    http://www.2x4basics.com/

It was an easy kit to assemble and it looks and works great. I haven't bolted the Hornady Lock N Load, but I should have that finished the the end of the weekend. It will be my reloading bench and my work area. I plan on attaching my vice someone on the bench. My RCBS Rockchucker will remain on my portable reloading table. I will have pictures tomorrow if time permits. I am gestimating that I have a few hundred pounds of ammo on the bench. It appears that the bench could hold more weight if I needed to put more ammo on it.

When I had my bench constructed I was fortunate to be in an industry that allowed me to construct a stand of 2" angle iron. My primary bench is L 72" x W 24" x H 40", I placed 3/4" plywood on the top with carriage bolts.

Jack, sounds like a rock solid bench. I still don't own my place, so I wanted something a bit more portable. Once I settle in on a place, I am pretty sure that I will have a few goodies in the place. The sad part about the bench is that I have it stuffed with items and I still have a few rounds to load this winter. Where should I keep all of my junk???

I am going to put a back board on the shelf, so the bullets don't slide off. I know it looks a bit messy, but I have way too much junk in that room. You should have seen it before this week.

    Nice set up,

I see you have a pact dispenser. Do you also have the matching scale? I was thinking of getting the combo package.
    Do you like it?

    Very Nice Bench!

Storage is a problem here as well as my home is very small.
The metal bench I use has one shelf about 6" off of the floor, with the wall directly behind the bench having peg board.
On one end of the bench I mounted my single stage press, and on the other corner a vise. I also placed a small 4 gallon air compressor on the lower shelf with a air chuck, makes cleaning actions a breeze. I placed 2 double tube fluorescent shop lights over the bench, (head bangers) as the ceiling is low.

    Nice bench Aub.

And yes, in comparison to the last time I saw that room, it's very organized!
