I need your help, 1% income tax ?

Hi everyone, i need your help locating the tax collector for Paradise township here in monroe.

I need the name adress, number etc. anything you could help me with , i tried everything including yellow pages , cant believe it would be so difficult to find the taxman.

Call the township office 570-595-3090. I`m assuming you`re referring to the EIT not real estate taxes. The township can tell you who the tax collector is or if they contract out to Berkheimer like many townships do.

Thanks guys, last night i tried the internet but came up blank , tried the yellow pages but nothing under taxes , but lots of ads for tax attorneys, yes exbiker i were referring to the EIT but hired goon found him for me.

You have to make sure you pay the right taxes. Real estate and EIT are different and yet some will collect both. There may also be and OPT and an occupation tax in your township. You`ll have to ask. The OPT is like 10 bucks a year and the other is a flat rate based on job description. Not all townships have these. The EIT can be higher then 1% but most townships have stuck to the 1%.

The reason I said to call the township is that Berkheimer is listed in the township website as important phone numbers.
