Started on another holster...

This week's victim was the P11. Still need to finish the stitching around the belt loops.

Start out with some leather like this...


Do some cutting, shaping, and stitching, and end up with something like this




I'm debating on dying the leather black, or just leaving it natural. I'll probably leave this one natural, and make another in black to have options for the wardrobe.

I think that I can use this holster as a pattern for a holster to fit a P3AT, shouldn't take too much modification.

Laid the gun onto the leather, took a scratch awl and marked the dimensions of the gun. Then I freehanded the rest, used a ruler to keep the lines somewhat straight, and the openings for the belt close to the same dimension. After I had the front and back pieces of the holster cut out, I traced around them onto some cardboard to make patterns to save a little time, in case I make another one.


I need to pick up some dye in a couple more colors yet, so far just have black. I think a couple shades of brown will be in my future.
