I thought there were no pics allowed of frag drapped coffins coming home from the war?

As for paying respects... he should be there ever single day when the caskets come in and he should be saluting each one for the sacrifice they made for their country...

but he won't because he is to busy flying all over the country campaigning for health care support and more money for the DNC
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

They changed the policy, so that if the family gives permission, it's okay. Obama took immediate advantage of the change in policy to run out to Dover on a helicopter and get a photo op in before breakfast.

definately looks like the photographer was paid to take a picture of Obamer, because I would have blurred his ass and focused more on the soldiers carrying the flag draped casket.

I can't help but believe he's thinking "sorry, I won't be rushed into a decision if it's worth sending support or pulling you out."

    Disgraceful.

I'm a bit naive on the subject, as I never served, but:

Seeing as Obama never served himself, is he even allowed to issue a salute if one isn't issued to him first?

The King of Kenya left after 2400 to fly to Dover the White(don't know if that's the right term) House notified the reporters so they could be there. And why is that ass-hat saluting hand of the heart he's not in uniform

I'd have more respect for him if he'd of gone without any notification to the press. This man is still trying to decide about sending more troops to Afghanistan when More and More Americans die one of the worst months in the history of the war for dead Americans. And his Generals all military men say we need 40,000 more troops how the hell can someone with no military experience sit there and say I have to decide how many we'll send.

    (Sorry for the rant)

He is the highest ranking member of all the armed forces while he is POTUS.
