Good buy?
I picked this up a couple of months ago at Dunham's for $99 and was wondering if anyone knew or had heard anything about these guns. The markings read as follows:
Made In China By Jing AN
Imported by CAI Georgia VT
I was told that it is basically a Chinese made Ithaca. I don't know much about shotguns. I basically bought it because it was cheap and I wanted a shotgun. I don't hunt. I have handguns for home defense.
My wife and I went to the range with my brother-in-law over the summer. He took his thrower and let her shoot some pigeons and she liked it. That is probably the only thing it will be used for. I haven't even had a chance to shoot it yet.
I figure for the price, I couldn't go wrong. I'm just looking for a little input from the pro's.

Re: Good buy?
I saw one being sold on gunbroker for 255, but that is high.

I could not find a listing for one in the CURRENT Century Arms catalog. Also as a side note, I don't know if you got a manual with it, but it says you can ONLY shoot lead shot, no steel. I don't think you planned on taking it duck hunting, but just an FYI.
