4 handguns confiscated by local police
Trying to reach VA hosp. dialed the alternate number and unbenownst to me was hot line for suicide prev. in minutes policeman came to my house and confiscated all of my guns...I went to VA hosp. and got it straightened out but local police say they can hold guns for 30 days...I feel because they did not give me a PFA90 with description it will be difficult to get them back...I called local district court which said they can not make police give them back but I could try to obtain court hearing requiring them to pay me what they are worth...I feel they are stalling it is now 27 days and no contact. I see they are having some kind of meet in Harrisburg. May 8th. I am only 40 minutes from there. anybody showing up there that might help me with my present plight.? email cmy440sixpack440 & yahoo.com
and last I am looking at precedant Fiorino vs PHila police 18 PA C.S. 6111.4
and title 23 Pa CSA.6108 help please.

Re: 4 handguns confiscated by local police
I'm sure someone else will know more than me on the subject, but the first three words that come to my mind are as follows:
1: lawyer
2: Lawyer
3: LAWYER
Getting your guns back is clearly not just a matter of pointing out a misdialed phone number and the cops saying "OH, our bad, here ya go.""Freedom is our most precious commodity and if we are not eternally vigilant, government will take it all away. Individual freedom demands individual responsibility."

Call the State Police. Your firearms were stolen, period.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but believe me, it's on the damned list.

Wow, utterly bizarre if the facts are as you presented them. Good luck.

Ok, if no one else is asking the obvious question, then I will. How the heck did the police find out that you have guns?
And good luck with your fight.Je suis déplorable
