I would have invited them inside but I'm sure they wouldn't have stayed long. I've got all of my weapons out for cleaning.

My buddies and I were at a friends house drinking (we were all between 17 - 19) with his parents (they took our keys, no driving... still illegal but...)

Anyway we are playing quarters drinking beer and I had just got assigned a drink and swore twice... 3 drinks... finished my beer and threw the can in the yard. My buddies dad goes "I don't give a shit, Al is picking them up" (Al is my buddy). So we proceeded to kill 2 30 packs and throw every can in the yard... think we crashed around 4am?

My buddies dad leaves in the AM to get some milk and eggs for breakfast and as he is leaving some Jehovah's come up the driveway... he tells them he doesn't live here but the owner of the house should be awake and is almost certinaly intrested.

So these 2 morons walk up to the front door (stepping over beer cans) and ring the door bell for a good 30 seconds, my buddy walks down in his boxers to answer the door, still drunk off his ass and when they start preaching to him he looks out and sees his dad flip him the bird and drive off.

I think he told them to go f themselves and to get off the porch has he was about to hurl and if they were still there it was gonna hit them

devils advocate time..... Here are people that, in their minds are trying to help others by introducing them to a way that they believe is the path to salvation. Most major religions express the need to "save" others by converting them to the rightous path. If one takes the 5 minutes to rationally let them know they are not interested in converting, the people generally leave. There is no need to try to intimidate them.

In other recent posts, it has been made clear that religious intolerance will not be, well, tolerated, and JW is a religion. Simply venting because they woke you is one thing, demeaning the religion and calling it defamatory names (ie "cult") is treading dangerously close to a reprimand. I am surprised no Mod has commented to such yet.

In my opinion, all religions are cults. Some are just bigger, more established and accepted than others. They all try to get you to think and act a certain way.

No Jews, Cathloics, Buddists, etc come to my house and try and convert me to their religion. If your religion is that weak that you don't have enough people coming to church, don't come to my house and try and preach to me. I have nothing against the people personally but it is an annoying practice, if I said I wasn't interested and they just left that would be tolerable, but when I say I am not interested and they proceed to try and preach to me anyway or want me to take a copy of the watchtower, GRRRRrr. I just said I wasn't interested, what makes you think I wanna read about it? I love living in a secure apartment now. If they come in and knock on my door now I ask simply "do you live in this building?" if the answer is no I escort them to the front door and tell them to leave the building, if they don't I call the police and request they be arrested for trespass.

I got a call from a neighbor warning me that they were in the area and coming down my street. I lit some candles and incense, stripped to the waist and hung a very large pentacle on the wall.
