RIP Trooper Iwanic
Trooper Kenton Iwanic, 24 and fresh out of the police academy and finally fulfilling his dream of becoming a PA State Trooper...you we're one of the most caring and selfless persons on the planet. You always lit up the room, and memories of you will forever be burned into our hearts.

RIP Trooper......
St. Michael, Patron Saint of Police
Police Officer's Prayer to St. Michael
Saint Michael, heaven's glorious commissioner of police,
who once so neatly and successfully cleared God's premises
of all its undesirables, look with kindly and professional
eyes on your earthly force.
Give us cool heads, stout hearts, and uncanny flair for
investigation and wise judgement.
Make us the terror of burglars, the friend of children and
law-abiding citizens, kind to strangers, polite to bores,
strict with law-breakers and impervious to temptations.
You know, Saint Michael, from your own experiences
with the devil that the police officer's lot on earth is not
always a happy one; but your sense of duty that so
pleased God, your hard knocks that so surprised the
devil, and your angelic self-control give us inspiration.
And when we lay down our night sticks, enroll us in your
heavenly force, where we will be as proud to guard the
throne of God as we have been to guard the city of all
the people. Amen."Guess what?! I got a fever, and the only prescription... is more cowbell!"

Re: RIP Trooper Iwanic
How was it that she and her child were ok but he was killed? Was he in a small car and she in a SUV? Was he wearing his seatbelt? I'm not trying to belittle what happened but it sounds like there is more to it than they are saying if they hit head on as stated. Both vehicles would have sustained the same impact force if they were of relatively equal weight. It is a shame.

It's very sad. He died doing what he always wanted, finally, and during the "honeymoon period." It's very sad, but I guess that's a good way of looking at it. Only the good die young.
Saint Michael is also the patron saint of AIRBORNE. He's in the best of company.

Re: RIP Trooper Iwanic
Not entirely true. My friend died in a car crash in December. He was front passenger seat. The drivers of both cars and the other passenger in my friends car were treated and released the same day.
It mostly depends on where the impact was and the kind of cars involved."See, this side is well roasted; turn me on the other and eat." St. Lawrence
