So my gun dealer is becoming a problem!! I had been thinking that i have all but two guns i want i just want a commander style 1911 and a 2 inch barreled .357. then i get into his shop and he is a very good friend of mine and my fathers. He knows exacty what guns to show me to make me want them. Now after only an hour in the shop talking to him i now want about thirty guns!!! this guy is big problem he knows my likes way to much!!!

in case you were wondering this is all supposed to be a joke.

just wondering if any one else has this problem?

yes, i always walk into the gun shop intending to buy a certain gun and leave with one completely different . last week i went to buy a 45-70 encore rifle and leave with a mossy 500 with a red dot.

I make myself dedicated fully to what I want to purchase, that way there's not waivering on cost/model/ etc.

I really study what I want before I buy it as well.

Next up gun wise is an M1 Garand. not trying to think beyond that. stay focused.

With the attitude of many of the gun shops in the Pittsburgh area, I find it hard to buy anything from them, let alone what I was looking for . Two come to mind. Do any Pittsburghers know which two I'm talking about?

    Trudat!

I'll be buying my garand from CMP, likely service grade, though Im not sure because I'd like to toss a new stock on it after refinishing it...dunno if the extra 100 or 150 is worth it in the barrel/mechanical parts department on the service grade.

I haven't seen any rack grades before (unless that's what Roland's was).

Have you been reading my mind?

I'm currently waiting for my GCA membership entry to get approved and then I'll be ordering my Service Grade M1 Garand and some M2 Ball.

Hey Hawk, I don't know where you are at in Pittsburgh, but c'mon down the river to Rochester and check out John Browns Armory. The owner is a good bud of mine, but that is not why I shop there. You can handle any gun he has there, you can shoot the shit and not buy anything there, his prices are the cheapest I have seen. He is honest too, and has a lawaway. The only time you would not be happy with him is if you were going to sell him a gun or trade one, he has a lot of guns and is not hurting for stock. Pm me if you want more info, like hours directions etc.
Go sell crazy some where else, we're all stocked up here.
