Looking at moving to Adams county
How are things out there as far as local ranges and NFA sign off?. My parents live next door in York so I have the general feel for the area. I am looking in Carroll Valley and Littlestown right now. Any other suggestions of nice areas ?
Doesn;t seem like alot of gunowners live in Adams

Only 2 members that have marked themselves from Adams so far unfortunately. You might want to try asking over on subguns.com NFA forum for the time being about Adams county signoffs.

Here's the Adams County Sheriff's website. Could try just giving them a call and see what they say.

www.acsha.com Is my club in Adams County. We do allow full-auto, except right now it is suspended until we can strenghthen the berms further. This should be done in the spring. The berms are higher than in the pictures on the site now, but they need to be made even higher.
The club needs to further certify you for full-auto use once it has been re-enstated.

Re: Looking at moving to Adams county
I'd look elsewhere than Adams county--taxes are increasing and over 53,000 single famiily homes are under construction--yet no increase in municipal services. Farmland is selling at premium prices and I'm next to get the heck out of here. Once the previous county Administration chaged the County from Agricultural to Ag-Retirement --that opened the flood gates fopr Marylanders to move in-- and they have no clue as to what lies ahead. Major industrial parks, trucking centers, massive housing developments and more.. I already had my property appraised and it begins at $4 million. for 21 acres and a house--and a deep well. Then its' off to Canada or maybe Mechanicsburg--whatever --it's better than Adams County.

Tell me about it. Over here in franklin is just as bad. I think I'm gonna move to Altoona. They still have decent houses with decent prices and this renting crap is getting old.
