Default looking for carry law info

last time i renewed my carry permit was in 8/3/2004 and i was given one paper with carry laws.well it was verry outdated.i'm not complaining about the sherifs office.they seem very gun rights friendly.i just thought i should help out by dropping off more up to date gun carry papers for them to hand out to new applicants.maybe they updated by now but i figure it won't hurt to drop off a copy next time i'm in butler, just to help out those that don't have access to the site.does anyone have up to date info i can print out?it will help new gun owners alot and even if they don't need them, then i can still leave something with this sites info there.

That is a comprehensive look at the basics of "gun rights" and the legal issues associated with carrying in PA.

Consider that if tey are giving out incorrect info in 2004, they probably still are.
the UFA does not get updated often at all.

As dobe mentioned, the flyer is the easiest condensed doc to use.

Also, consider making an appointment and speaking with your sheriff.

here are two threads to use as an example:

Oh boy, they will love you Expect a lot of "well, you just shouldn't do it".
I admire your willingness to do it, many do not bother.

    Be safe.

If I recall correctly, Butler County does not give any papers out with the license. I got my LTCF in January of 2007 and I don't remember any sort of paper coming with it. Although I was in college then and my mail went to my parents house, so they could have just thrown out everything and put the license in my pile of mail. I don't remember if I opened it or my mother did.

you have to ask for them when your at the sheriffs office otherwise they don't give you them, but the papers they give you are so vague their not worth having.i'll find out soon if its still the same when my friend gets his.
