This site freezes or "hangs" on me.
its been doing it nearly every day when i first come to the site.
the site loads fast at the forum index, then i click on new posts which also loads fast. then when i click on a post to read it will freeze and just hang. the page wont load (the hour glass shows) so i then close the window and reopen this site and everything is ok and works normally.
i assume its on my end. what could be the problem? its only happens on this site.

What browser are you using? I've had this happen a few times when opening a thread using Firefox on my Mac but it's sporadic at best (I could probbaly count the number of times it's happened on my hands.)

I'm using IE 6 with no issues. Could it be your security settings?

If anyone else has had this issue, please post your Operating System/Browser Name & Version and roughly how many times it has happened. I'd like to collect this info to see if I can isolate the issue.

Actually I find there are times when i visit a utube page, the utube coming soon to this site follows me back. pictures tend to hang and blurr a while if you scroll down fast.

My guess...and its just that... is its the DSL. We had DSL with IE6 and it was actually SLOWER than our dial-up...it stalled at least 50% of the time! We eventually went with cable and have had zero problems for months.
