Default How much snow does it take to stop a 9mm?

NO I'm not going to go do this,... just thought about it and wondered...

we have a bunch of snow... how thick does a snowman have to be to prevent a full pass through of a 9mm FMJ at 10 yards? :P

admit it... you've all thought about it
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

I think there are way too many variables when it comes to the density of snow to make an accurate estimate. If there is a suitable backstop behind it, there's only one way to find out... However, if there are other houses around and you are counting on Frosty to stop the round, I wouldn't attempt it.

You should see what it does to a snapping turtle at <5 yards.

Dredly, I hope you have a truck to help pull my car out of the snow when I go to the range to attempt this the next time it snows a lot...

Depends on if the snowman has his vest on.

depends on the type of snow... wet or fluffy... has the snowman sat out for a while? is it hard and crusted?

Can you just imagine the look on the game wardens face when he comes to check out the shooting range and sees ya out there making a snowman? hahaha
