Blackhawk Serpa CQC Holsters. Very Nice IMO.
Good Afternoon Folks.
Well, about a week ago I ordered on Fleabay two Serpa CQC Lvl (2) holsters after reading so many positive comments on multiple forums.
1 for my XDm - 40, 4.5" and
1 for my S&W 637 CT ( J Frame) Revolver..
I paid about $32.50ea. Plus $4.99 S&H.
These things are sweet. They came with the paddle and belt loop attachments ( New In Box) and are just a pleasure to draw from.
After a few depth/height and cant adjustments I made, I can see these being my OWB / CC Holsters. They disappear while loaded under just a basic polo shirt and hold the weapons securely until the finger along the trigger button is pressed for the draw..
The S&W Model is a perfect fit.
The XDm model for the 4.5' , 40cal. does have about 1/2" of the barrel that protrudes from the bottom of the holster ( No biggie IMO)
I am tending to favor the belt attachment as it feels to me a little easier to deal with then the paddle It also seems to sag a bit less.
With the belt loop attachment on, It holds the holster tight against my body .. which I personally like.
( I had to undo my jeans and fumble a bit to get the paddle off , especially after I set the belt level clips at what seemed to be the perfect height. )
I am sure a little more practice will make the paddle removal a bit easier. But I usually wear a belt everywhere anyway and
I ain't ready to "carry" yet either. LOL
I just wanted to share my thoughts on what seem to be very nice holsters.
Peace and God Bless

The Blackhawk Serpa CQC is my favorite holster for my Kimber .45, typically use the belt attachment when I carry, keeps it nice and close to my body and easily concealable with a shirt and new for open carry.

I prefer the belt attachment. Close and secure. There's a video somewhere (can't search for it now while at work) of paddle attachments breaking easily. Can't remember if it was brand specific or paddles in general.
Good choice though."Unus ut caput capitis"

Re: Blackhawk Serpa CQC Holsters. Very Nice IMO.
I carry my Glock 26 in my Serpa almost everyday day. I usually use the paddle without the belt screws or w/e they are called. My dad bought one for his S&W 4006, Old gun 37oz for the people who don't know, and complains it leans out to far from his buddy. Does anyone experience this with thier bigger guns.

Big fan of the serpa here also! Have them for my 1911's and my glocks. Usually I run it with the paddle.

I have one for my Glock.
A few thoughts:
I'm not as impressed as I once was.
It sucks for CC. (unless you are wearing a big coat over it)
