It's been awhile
Thought I'd drop a quick line since it has been awhile. I still carry open or concealed depending. No real interactions pos or neg (which it always should be). When I go to communist/migrant areas awareness definitely gets pegged. No issues there yet. Neighbors have seen me carrying around the house/yard. No issues. A couple of alphabet ladies live nearby again no issues.
An Armed society is a polite society.

While open carry should be fine, I never do it. It's literally giving information to the enemy. Neighbors (hopefully) aren't who you need your gun for, it's the criminals who may see your firearm and think "free gun". Ladies have their purses snatched all the time.
While it helps to have your head on a swivel, you can't be looking everywhere all the time.
