What makes you think they actually research their candidate?

Alot of people are voting for him because he's NOT a white republican. His qualifications don't matter much past that.

At least with McCain what ya see is what ya get. The alternative is a hidden agenda which could and IMHO turn out to be our worst nightmare.

Just tell the obama voters that they don't need to get mad, to just calm down. THat's what the obamaites I work with always tell me when I am calmly trying to ask them why they are voting for obama. One coworker is voting for him because he thinks Bush fucked up national security and is supposed to be protecting us from further terrorist attacks since 9-11. He is also blaming Bush and complaining that we have embassies in almost every country in the world. He also is both upset that people in other countries have to come to American embassies to ask for permission to come to America while at the same time saying that there needs to be a system in place to make sure that forigners in our country have to apply for visa's. The only opinion he has about McCain is that he is too old to be president and that he's gonna die. These are the windowlickers that I work with and the average obama supporter that I have to deal with on a daily basis.
