A friends house burnt last night, he cannot account for 4 handguns.
Ruger SRH, 7 1/2" in .44 mag, AMT 1911, 7", 2 S. African 9mm's.

Fingers - Firstly, very sorry to hear about your friends horrible situation. I hope that none of his family or pets were injured or killed or the fire fighters who I imagine responded. Could you tell us more? Does your friend think that there was a robbery?

He's single, and was not at home, don't know about pets, he didn't mention them.

From his description of the damage, it is suspicious....

He was a VFF with the people who responded, noone was hurt...

ETA: out of 25+ only 4 are un-accounted for....

Sounds like someone started a fire to coverup a burglary.

Were these 4 not secured, and were the others in a safe.

Yep, and the SRH and AMT seem un-effected.....

The rest are going to our favorite resident smith, next weekend......
