Ron Paul is a great American. I really wish he had the Republican nomination. Maybe 2012 if he's still around.

Just finding RP huh?

Well dig in and start reading .... his book "Revolution, a manifesto" is a great read.

Once you are done reading his stuff start reading over at the Mises Institute ... RP is a member there too.

Good advise on both counts.

Add "Atlas Shrugged" to your reading list after you finish "Revolution".

the only problem ron paul has is, he makes sense.

I don't think many of you really understand Ron Pauls position... he would disband the Military. We kinda need that. Professional soldiers are a great asset.

He's also very isolationist. Our country is in no position to stop the flow of cheap, foreign made goods into the US. It would take years to get our industrial base up and running. Ron Paul WOULD get rid of the EPA and other hurdles... but factories and raw material would not appear overnight.

Plus we have no oil. in 10 years we may have some.. but short of insta-nuke plants/wind farms/natural gas lines even Ron Pauls vision is just that. An idealistic vision that would take 3-4 terms as president to sheppard the process through.
