Anyone a member @ Easton Fish and Game?
I moved the Nazareth area a few months ago from Macungie. I am still a member at Guthsville, but would prefer not to have to drive 30 minutes each way on 22, especially since the club's upkeep has been declining. It seems the only decent range around here is Easton Fish and Game. Can anyone that is a member or has been there give me an honest review? It seems pretty nice judging by the website pictures. Do they have any weird rules such as firing increments, like the state game lands?
Thanks.

Re: Anyone a member @ Easton Fish and Game?
I have belonged to EFGA for at least 10 years now. I like the place. The range is completely kept up by the members, so at times it gets a little run down and then a club work day comes along and things get picked up again. Everyone I have met there is friendly and i've never had any scary moments. There are no rules on Rate of fire other then no full auto. You can load your mags up all the way. They are strict on safety though, and nothing unsafe will be tolerated. It is a large club and it can be crowded on nice days. You also have to check the calendar before you head to the range to make sure that there aren't matches or events on any range you plan to be using. For the price, its a great club.

Re: Anyone a member @ Easton Fish and Game?
I'm a member at EFGA. There is a good variety of ranges and the rules are practical/common sense. No rules on number of rounds per magazine, etc.

But as always, use common sense. It's a good place, nearby yet in a remote location. And, be sure to watch your speed on the approach road to be considerate to the people/chidren that live there. So this is how liberty dies...with thunderous applause.

In my opinion, it's the best range in NEPA.
I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

I've been a member for alot of years, you really can't ask for a much better range. They mostly have common sense rules so not much to worry about, although I was heartbroken when they moved from up by rt.78

Re: Anyone a member @ Easton Fish and Game?
Thanks for all the info guys. The rules seem identical to Guthsville. I was looking at the calendar on the website and it seemed for the next few months they have nothing buy meetings scheduled. I plan to submit my application for membership within the next few weeks. Hope to meet some of you guys out there.
I'm confused, so they are not located right off the last exit on 78?

Re: Anyone a member @ Easton Fish and Game?
The club house is off the last exit on 78 before PRNJ.
The ranges are about 10 mins away from the club house using back roads.
The website should have directions.
And, you don't need to attend a monthly meeting to join. You can join via mail after downloading the application. So this is how liberty dies...with thunderous applause.
